She looked at him, a crazy look on her face.
"You've got to be kidding me, YOUR the weird one?" She said, trying to sound serious, and miserably failing, laughing. "Im the one who hangs out in trees with copies of Wurthering Hieghts, and Shakespear plays," She said, shaking her head. He thought he was weird? "You dotn talk to your self, now do you?" She said, a peal of laughter errupting from her mouth. She was remembering the time that she got the sheriff called on her because she was in the park, talking to herself. The tourists thought she was a esacapee from a mental institution or something Her grand father had shown up, and let them know that she was in fact not crazy, just a big weirdo.
"And you think im the normal one," She rolled her eyes, and shook her head.

Jamie smiled a little, though it was only halfhearted. Obviously she didn't see what other people saw. When he looked at her he saw a smart, funny, friendly and gorgeous girl who had a passion for reading and had the biggest heart of anyone he had ever met. If only she could see that, maybe then she would understand. "I may not be falling out of trees but I'm the one who takes you to the hospital every time you do. And I'm also the one who's got two friends." He smiled a little and looked up at the sky, it wasn't raining, but it was cold and the wind was strong and angry feeling, a storm was obviously on its way.

She rolled her eyes.
"That is true," She said, reffering to the part about him driving her to the hospital whenever she fell out of a tree.
"But I only have two friends as well," She said, then thought that over. was she friends with these new kids? She didnt quite know, allthough the ones she had met so far were really nice to her.
"Okay, what will you do for me if I accept that your a weirdo and I am oh so awesome?" She asked, raising her left eye brow, a slight smile on her face, somewhat challenging.

Jamie smiled, "I think the hospital staff is getting sick of me taking up space in the waiting room." He said. Every time he drove Keira to the hospital for some reason or other he would be left in the waiting room because he wasn't related to her, it was kind of annoying. "And trust me, if you wanted you could have as many friends as you wanted." He looked down at her, "Trust me."
He smiled wider and laughed a little at her challenge, "I don't know, I'll do anything but go cliff diving, I draw the line there." He had seen some of the LaPush kids jumping off the cliffs and thought they were raving mad it was so crazy.

She shivered at the thought of cliff diving.
"I dont blame you," She said, thinking of something that she could have him do. She thought long and hard..And came up with nothing.
"Ive got nothing at the moment, but belive me, when I DO come up with something, it will be good," She said, trying to make her voice sound mysterious and cryptic, probably failing quite miserably at it.
"So, what is there to do in a small town that we have yet to do?" She asked, not really wanting to go back to school, for some reason, she thought about the time her mother had passed out in class, from the blood type testing.

The dark haired boy smiled a little, "I'm sure you'll come up with something." He said trying not to laugh. "And as for what we can do that we haven't done yet, we have everything left but cliff diving and uh.... anything that involves jumping from great heights." He rolled his grey eyes. Forks was such a small town there was nothing to do, and yet no place was small enough to be void of jerks like Jason who thought they were all that because they played sports.
Jamie wasn't a sporty kid, he was okay at some sports and was well built, but he was defiantly better at art. That was probably the reason the majority of the school thought he was gay, that and the fact that his only friend, other than his dog, was a girl. He sighed and looked up at the sky with his grey eyes, wondering if it was going to rain now, or later.

She grinned.
"we should get out of here," She said, very restless all of the sudden. She jumped up.
"Come on! we can drive out to the beach or Port Angeles, maybe grab a bite to eat that isn't the drivel that they serve here, I'm itching for something real, some seafood possibly?" She said, knowing that he would love to go. "Unless you want to stay here..." She led off, moving to walk tword her bike.
She wanted to leave school so badly, and just, go. She did not know where, just that she did. She smiled a wicked smile. Today was going to be her skip day for the month, or whatever. She just couldn't handle being stuck in those class rooms, the teachers teaching things that she had already covered on her own.

Jamie smiled at his best friend, it was so like Keira to randomly decide to ditch during lunch. "You know Keira most people plan on ditching earlier on in the day, but hey I'm all for it. Anything to get me away from those baboons inside," He trailed off and shrugged. "Our mother's are going to kill us." He laughed suddenly, not caring that he was going to be in so much trouble when his mother found out.
He laughed as she moved towards her bike, "Let's take my car," He said taking one step away from her bike and standing in front of his small and beat up Honda. "It may not be as cool as you bike but..." He trailed off not really sure what to say, "It runs... most of the time."

She laughed, pushing his shoulder.
"Oh whatever, my bikes awesome, and you know it," She said, picking up her bag, getting ready to go.
"You know, they probably will, but they must have skipped in their days here, right? I know for a fact my mother was quite a rebel sometimes," She said, thinkign back to the stories her mother had told her and Anna about her days as a teenager here in forks.
"Ready to go Mr. Weber?" She asked, a smile plaing on her lips. she was excited, she was about to leave the school, and no one could stop her.

Jamie smiled, his car had belonged to a friend of his mom's, he had sold it to Jamie for very little, because it was a piece of crap, but at least it was a car. In a place like Forks where it rained all the time cars were a good thing to have. "Your bike is the same thing as taking a shower." He joked, thinking about how impossible it would be to not get soaked every time she rode it. He unlocked his car and opened the driver seat door, tossing his backpack into the backseat he smiled over the roof of the car at Keira.
"Your mother? A rebel?" He laughed a little, "That's hard to believe." He couldn't imagine Keira's mother as a rebel, it just didn't fit with the image he had of her, then again he couldn't even imagine Mrs. Black as a teenager, heck he couldn't even picture his own mother being in high school. "I'm ready, the question is, are you Ms. Black?"
